Crispy Tofu

Perfectly crispy tofu cubes with golden exterior and tender inside. Press the tofu well and don't skip the cornstarch.
Ingredients
Extra firm tofu
14 oz blockpressed 30 minutes minimum
Soy sauce
2 tbspCornstarch
2 tbspkey to crispiness
Garlic powder
½ tspSmoked paprika
½ tspSesame oil
1 tspChef tips
💡Press tofu for at least 30 minutes — more time = crispier tofu
💡Cornstarch coating is non-negotiable — it's what creates the crispy shell
💡Don't crowd the basket — tofu needs air all around it to crisp properly
